Young Explorers at JLNS

A program for children who are 3 or 4 years old

Children must be 3 on or before Sept 30th.

Overview:

The Explorers class is specifically designed to help the children become familiar in a more structured classroom setting. Throughout the year the children will begin developing learning skills that will help prepare them for the Pre-K class.

They will develop their skills through interactive play, stories, songs, crafts, hands-on math and science activities, as well as activities that will build and strengthen their gross and fine motor skills. In addition to developing their learning skills the children will also participate in chapel, music, art and library classes.

• Children do not need to be completely potty-trained for this program. However, we do ask that the children be almost completely potty-trained and feel comfortable with using the bathroom.
• Class size is kept to a maximum of 10-11 children.
• Programs offered:  3-day program & 2-day program
