Pre-Kindergarten at JLNS

A program for children who are 4 or 5 years heading to kindergarten

Children must be 4 on or before Sept 30th.

Overview:

The Pre-K class is specifically designed to help prepare your child for kindergarten. Throughout the year the children will work on the following Kindergarten readiness skills: language and literacy, math and science, creativity, social/emotional, gross/fine motor, and maintaining attention. These skills are taught through a combination of teacher directed and child directed activities that incorporate PA’s Early Learning Standards.

In addition to developing their readiness skills the children will also participate in chapel, music, art and library classes.

• Class size is kept to a maximum of 10-12.
• Programs offered:  3-day program & 2-day program
