Christian Education at Chestnut Level Presbyterian Church

Christian Education at Chestnut Level Presbyterian Church prepares our church family to love God and to serve others throughout our lives. Our Christian Education programs teach us to:

Know God in three ways – as the Father, as Jesus Christ, and as the Holy Spirit
Ask God for forgiveness for our sins
Know that God forgives us through His grace and mercy
Understand how and why we worship God
Know that Jesus loves us, whether we deserve it or not
Help and serve others like Jesus did
Follow Jesus, even when it seems that others don’t
Use the Bible to teach us how to live
Study the whole Bible – both Old and New Testaments – to help us know God fully and share our faith with others

Nursery (infancy)	Room 201 (entry level) NOTE: This is an adult Volunteers' class. Sign-ups are in the Nursery room (201).
Toddlers (2-3 yrs old)	Room 110 (downstairs)
Pre-school (4-5 yrs old)	Room 1xx (downstairs)
K-1 (Beginning reading skills)	Room 1xx (downstairs)
2^nd - 3^rd grades	Room 100 (downstairs)
4^th - 5^th grades	Room 101 (downstairs)
Junior High (6^th - 8^th grades)	Room 102 (downstairs)
Senior High (9^th - 12^th grades)	Room 105 (downstairs)
Men's Class	Room 204 (entry level), this is a great group of guys who study, discuss and learn together about how to follow Jesus.
Ladies' Friendship Bible Class	Room 203 (upstairs), their time together is spent in Bible study, discussion and fellowship.
Salt and Light Class	Library, this is an ongoing biblical study series. Studying the teachings of Joyce Myers.
Grace 202	Room 202 (entry level), studying the book of James. If interested, contact Kurt Wagner.
God's Girls	Multipurpose Room (entry level), studying women in the Bible. If interested, contact Trisha Wilson. Though our culture is vastly different from that of the women in the Bible, we share many of the same emotional resposnes and struggles. Come and learn about their lives with us -- simply bring yourself and your Bible.
Biblical Pathway	Room 205 (entry level) Ray Vander Laan's Series "Life and Ministry of the Messiah" This is a video series with Ray Vander Laan, noted religious historian and teacher. Ray's message is that Jesus is our Rabbi and Savior and by weaving together the Bible's fascinating historical, cultural and religious contexts, this immensely popular DVD series brings the message of Scripture to life in a whole new way. In this class, you will find out why, through the presented video and discussion about your Savior's life and ministry.
